About
Ms Saudia Anwer holds dual MSC degree; Environmental Management & International Development from the University of Sheffield, UK and Geography & Environment from Jahangirnagar University and stood first class second position. She is a commonwealth scholar and actively engage with social activity and network to bring social goods; including awareness creation on climate change, reducing violence against women, advancing women rights; (http://cscuk.dfid.gov.uk/2019/05/defending-womens-rights-in-bangladesh/)
She has been working with UNDP Bangladesh as Project Manager of National Adaptation Plan (NAP) Bangladesh project. Prior to join UNDP, she served Development Initiatives – UK, ADD- UK, European Union, Network on Climate Change Bangladesh, Prodipan in different roles; Head- Grants Management, Researcher, Advocacy Coordinator- Climate Change, Project Coordinator – Climate Change, Programme Officer- Disaster Risk Reduction etc. She has nearly 14 years of professional experience in the areas of natural resource management, livelihoods, climate change, community development and disaster risk reduction. In her professional tenure, she supervised couple of projects, which are implemented by responsible parties; i.e. government departments and NGOs.

she loves playing badminton and doing photography since her college days. Also she writes blogs on Disaster Management and Climate Change Adaptation.
