About

Mohammad Majharul Islam was born in Kishoreganj, Bangladesh. He completed Bachelor of science in Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology followed by Master of science in Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh. His enthusiasm for research based studies led him earning another Master degree in Biochemistry from University of Helsinki, Finland. At present he is pursuing doctoral studies in biomedicine with major focus in hypercholesterolemia at the University of Helsinki. He values transferring acquired knowledge  into acts as the fundamental of resolving health issues and improving human lives, and as such joined CCRT Bangladesh. He is also involved with SPARK Finland (A branch of SPARK Global), a mentorship program that helps translating academic discoveries into therapeutic/diagnostic tools. Traveling is his favorite pastime.
