Meheadi Hasan Rumi, a founder member of CCRTB is currently an Msc student of Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, University of Chittagong. He is now working as a Research Assistant in Disease Biology and Molecular Epidemiology Research Group, Chittagong and Genomics Research group, Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Chittagong and actively involved with various research projects of these groups to achieve his goal to become a life science researcher. His most recent research projects are “Investigation of genetic variation and associated clinicopathological changes among hemophilia patients” and “Assessment of microbiome pattern of yourts from various regions of Bangladesh using metagenomic approch”. He is also engaged in several bioinformatics projects and recently has worked as co-author in a publication entitled “Exploring the genomic and proteomic variations of SARS-CoV-2 spike glycoprotein: a computational biology approach”. He is working with CCRTB for the welfare of cancer patients and upgradation of cancer research in Bangladesh.
